We blessed Abigail in Church on Sunday and I know I'm biased, but I think she looked absolutely adorable! You can be the judge for yourself though...

Dan had been planning this next piece of apparel for Abby's blessing before I was even pregnant and he didn't hesitate to show it off to all of Abby's wayward family members who cheer for the Utes...

We were happy to have Grandpa Howie and Grandma Sweetheart in town for the big event. They took Abby on her first hike...

And we owe a special thanks to my parents for hosting a little shin dig after the blessing.

We all sure do love you Abby!
Meet Daniel and Brittany
The challenge that began with "Have a nice life, Daniel Burton" is progressing with favorable results. Surviving and thriving on lively discussions about books, Abby, or the post-grad school world, the Burtons show signs of excellent health and familial success.
Dan and Britt met on a hot July 4th in 2005. Shortly after inviting her to join him for a panoramic view of the Independence Day fireworks, and not long after her denial, Daniel and Britt agreed to break the ice over ice cream. They soon realized that they were both book geeks, decided a permanent union was worth evaluating, and were married just over a year later on another beautiful July day.
After graduating with a law degree from both he and Brittany's alma mater's rival, Daniel is corporate counsel at the Woodbury Corporation, a commercial real estate management and development company in Salt Lake City. Meanwhile, and far more interestingly, Brittany is raising a new generation of Burtons as full-time mother and family creative director. Abby is two and a half, and #2 is on the way, with arrival expected in late June of 2011. The Burtons look forward to many years of exploring canyons, creeks, and mountain tops, swapping novels, notes, and ideas, and enjoying great discussions about people, politics, and their family.
Daniel and Brittany are both graduates of the 2002 class of Brigham Young University. Abby is gunning to graduate from diapers, sooner than later.

Brittany,
She is ADORABLE! What a specail day. Love the BYU onsie under her dress. Too funny!
You look GREAT as well.
Biased or not, the truth is that she IS adorable! What an awesome day!
She is beautiful guys! I love the fact you had a sports onesie under that beautiful dress (was it made or bought?) and she looks like she has grown a ton since I saw her. Keep sharing the pics.
She's beautiful! The BYU Onsies makes the entire outfit complete! Go Cougars!
Love the onesie, and Abby is adorable!
She is such a pretty, pretty baby. What a perfect little person face and those beautiful bright eyes!
I admit I like the onsie, but I am way partial to the gorgeous dress and shoes and bow. Aren't girls so fun to dress up!
Such cute pictures of Abby! She is a little mini-you Britt. Adorable. I just finished 'breaking dawn' and I have to agree with you on your review......I liked the book and read it in two days, but I was really looking forward to a fight at the end where they end up kicking some volturi butt! I was a little disappointed in that aspect but all in all, it was a fun read. At least the freakin' series is over now. I'm pretty sick of hearing about it.
oh your little Abby is so so so freakin cute. I'm so sad that I didn't get to meet her and see you and so sad that I can't even talk about it. I'm sorry, most of that was my fault and all the craziness of a last minute trip and too many family members that are somewhat good at making me feel guilty. That, and the lack of my own car or cell phone.
Maybe in a few months at Christmas time.
I still want to call and chat too.
i love you guys and i love the little cougar onsie- nice work.
She does look precious and I am glad you are bringing her up right as a cougar fan!!!!!!!
